There is a Cure for Diabetes

By the time you read this article title you are thinking either unbelievable, this is fantastic, or somewhere in between! If there was a cure, are you interested in discovering the cure? Hmmm cure. Not quite the right word. The body is quite capable of being healthy but sometimes things get in the way. Find out what those things are, experiment AND share with others so they can experiment as the very things to be discussed below is for EVERYONE and EVERY DISORDER. Diabetes should be consider as advanced aging.

If you have never read this before, and this is your very first time reading “There is a Cure for Diabetes”, YOU must be aware that you cannot ignore such a possibility when the WHO (World Health Organization) predicts that 1/3 of the world will have diabetes by 2050. That is clear to me if the majority of people continue to do what they do and don’t take control of their health.

I served on the Toronto Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in the mid 1990s and for over 15 years, I participated on the Ride for Diabetes volunteer committee running this event in Toronto…it equated to over 250 hours every year raising thousands and now millions across the country. Why did I contribute to JDF? Because juvenile diabetes afflicts mostly children and it appeared to me that it happened for unknown reasons. Diabetes changes the lifestyle of children, adults and families. It is life threatening, shortens their lifespan, and brings along with it a whole host of complications. Did you know that over 50% of the people with kidney failure are due to diabetes?

What is diabetes? Diabetes is where the body does not manage your blood sugar levels. The sugar in your blood needs to be at a certain level. Anything outside of this ideal level causes complications and can cause immediate health issues such as coma.

Your blood sugar levels should be at a healthy level in order to be and feel healthy.

So how does one prevent or reverse diabetes?
You could watch the DVD called Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days by Gabriel Cousens, M.D. According to Mike Adams’ recent article, here are the key areas to investigate:

1) Stop eating all refined sugars – We are addicted sugar and it takes time to give it up BUT it is a key first step. Many packaged goods and even children’s cough and cold medications have sugar in it.

2) Ingest large quantities of daily superfoods (healthy and healing foods!)– There are many of these foods available. One of my favourite is coconut oil. Others include spirulina, maca, chlorella, and Chinese medicine herbs. Quality matters every time.

3) Exercise a little bit every day – Walking daily for 30 minutes can make an impact. It is important that you move and make it a daily habit. Start a group. Mine is the Forest Hill Walk Club.

4) Get sunshine or vitamin D3 – The stats for the number of people deficient in this vital nutrient is more than crazy, especially when certain experts say that if people had enough vitamin D3 then 100% of cancers would be gone. Currently they say that 70% of white Americans and 97% among African Americans are deficient. I would highly suggest you consider a supplement if you stay indoors during the key daylight hours or live in areas where the sunlight is not sufficient all year round. That includes my fellow Canadians. Sunscreens, washing daily the areas exposed to sunlight with soap, and cholesterol lowering drugs could also interfere.

5) Avoid all processed foods – Check the label, can you read it? Eating refined foods are affecting your health. Milk is not what it used to be. I now drink raw dairy products in small amounts. Eliminate processed meats because they contain sodium nitrites, a chemical that destroys pancreas function.

Diabetes is nearly 100% preventable. The drugs will not cure diabetes and when I submitted an article on how one mother accidentally cure her young child from being insulin dependent, the JDF did not react nor investigate. Needless to say, I now dedicate my time somewhere else.
